i went there once with the boy scouts, must have been 5 years ago. it had jsut rained, and 300yd stretches of the trail had turned into giant mudholes, knee deep mud... it was awful. and all the rain brought out millions of mosquitos, it put swamps to shame. i live in austin, so i've always wanted to just stop by for a day, but that experience ruined it for me. i'll try again some day
