Specialist sees me on Monday afternoon. I'll know more then. No one had told me it was a complete tear, so it was a little surprising when I checked out the films (which mean nothing to me -- "Oh, that's my knee. There's bone, there's other stuff....") and the included report which I attached a few moments ago to this thread. Thought it'd be interesting for others, and word to the wise to take better care of our knees (as so aptly was stated, that starts AT HOME, not just when we get all psyched up for a backpacking, camping or hiking trip!)

Wheee... I can see my health insurance deductible creeping up on me right quick, this year! But that's what health insurance s'for, so I'm not complaining.
