I had the most unusual Christmas here in Houston - watching very large snow flakes fall from the sky in a fury was quite the surprise!!! And a first for me. I have been in snow, but I have never seen snow fall. I felt like a little kid!!  |
We got itty, bitty snow pellets here in San Antonio, followed by about 5 minutes of very light snow flurries. The backyard birds here stood on the frozen block of ice that is normally their bird feeder, then started eating the snow pellets after they began accumulating -- their first water of several days, due to sub-freezing temperatures!
