Was at the park Sat. 4-20. Unfortunately we did not make reservations and were unable to camp. We had a wonderful day any way. The park has a couple of bird/wildlife observation blinds. The one behind HQ is very nice. It has several feeding stations and a bird bath w/mister. Saw a painted bunting for the first time taking a bath. What a beautiful little bird!! Also got a close look at a male turkey with the sun shining on him. Very pretty also. Many other birds, as well as lizards,rabbit, turkey and deer were seen. The park also has a section of river suitable for tubing. I highly recommend a visit.
