I've been wondering what visitors from Ohio might enjoy. There's a spring-fed swimming hole (commercial) in Ft. Worth called Burger's Lake that's a good place to cool off. The Fort Worth Nature Reserve off Jacksboro Highway on the northwest side of town is one of my favorites. You might try coming out my way and see Dinosaur Valley State Park - I don't think it would be worth the drive unless you stopped for bar-b-q'd brisket and a Dairy Queen Blizzard in Glen Rose. And my home town, Granbury, has a quaint old town square because they were too poor to tear it down and build new stuff back in the day.
