well, I'm just learning my birds- I'm sure you can identify way more than me, especially since I've only lived here about a year. But I've been listening to tapes of golden cheeked warblers and black capped vireo bird calls for the past month or so, and I got the golden cheeked warblers down pretty good I think.

The black capped vireo will be hard. I think their song is very close to other vireos. thats going to take a little more work.

Incidently, I heard via word of mouth that the windmill area of Fredrick park is a good spot to hear the golden cheeked warbler. I'm also willing to bet that further back in the more remote trails are probably pretty good.
