Reserve a Group Site for Your Next Gathering at Calaveras Park or Braunig Park

SAN ANTONIO. Tired of hosting your family events at the same places every year? Calaveras Park and Braunig Park have the solution to your problem. Both parks now accept reservations on group sites accommodating up to 75 people.

Calaveras Park Group Sites: Calaveras Cove and Lake View
Calaveras Park offers two group reservation sites: Calaveras Cove and Lake View. Calaveras Cove has seating for approximately 75 people and is equipped with barbeque pits, a volleyball net, and a campfire ring. Calaveras Cove is located on the shores of Calaveras Lake, with more than 75 feet of direct waterfront access.

If your outdoor needs include electrical hookup, Lake View is right for you. Lake View has seating for approximately 75 people and comes equipped with barbeque pits, a campfire ring, and electricity. Shade trees and a nice lake breeze make both Calaveras Cove and Lake View ideal summer spots. Tent camping is permitted at both sites.

Braunig Park Group Sites: The Pavilion, Lakeside, and Big Oak
Braunig Park offers three group reservation sites to meet your planning needs: The Pavilion, Lakeside and Big Oak.

Concerned it may rain? The Pavilion is a covered site that seats approximately 75 people and is equipped with electricity, three barbeque pits, and an adjacent swing set. With the tables removed, it serves as a 22' x 30' covered dance floor. Camping is not permitted.

Like Lake View at Calaveras Park, the Lakeside group at Braunig offers more than 75 feet of direct waterfront access. The area seats approximately 50 people and is equipped with three barbeque pits and a campfire ring. Tent camping is permitted.

If you prefer an “inland” shaded area, Big Oak is the spot for your next gathering. With seating for approximately 75 people, Big Oak offers barbeque pits and a campfire ring. Tent camping is permitted.

Reservations are accepted in advance with payment of a $25 deposit. Reservations made for holidays and during the San Antonio area spring break week will require a two-day minimum rental and a deposit in the amount of 100% of the rental fee.
