If anyone in the San Antonio area is into birding, and would like to volunteer for the city looking for golden cheek warblers and helping to define the extent of their habit in some natural areas that aren't yet open, let me know, and I'll put you in touch with the right person (I don't want to broadcast her info though)- its a great group of people, and they can really use the help. I'm going to participate, but I'll have to learn as I go- the more people who already know what they're doing/what they're looking for the better off we'll all be.
