Well its August but 2009 so why not go back, this time much better temps. Left on a Friday and it was a very pleasant 83 when we got there around 1230 put up the pop up gizmo's and went to Katies Cafe in Wills Point, yum very good Chicken Fried steak Special, they are only open till 2 each day and closed on Saturday so had to go ! love those little dinners! We were in site 64 again, nice big open site
Saturday started off at a pleasant 70 still the park was quite empty.
For those who have a trailer, they have added about 10 sewer sites in the park. Its the first loop and a number of pull throughts just past the main rest room area.
Saturday hit the beach and swam before it got too warm, At least there were some other folks this time. All in all a nice park less than 90 miles from us that was quiet on the last weekend before school !
