Yesterday morning I tool a little 6 mile walk in the woods. I was the only soul in the entire WMA. The weather was great and I saw a little wildlife.
Putting on my juvenile hat... You LUCKY DUCK! OK, got that out of my system.

I admit I don't live within spitting distance of any WMAs, and have not visited as many as I'd like. Some seem better suited to drive-through visits, but others like Walter E. Buck WMA (which I have visited and hiked at,) located near Kerrville-Schreiner State Park, offer splendid hiking and wildlife viewing opportunities.
