Official TPWD News Forum contains official Texas Parks & Wildlife Department news releases and updates.
TPWD makes these available to the public and from now on, the Wild Texas Forums will automatically include them as well.

tpwdnews" -- this is an automated account, not one monitored or owned by Texas Parks & Wildlife Department. It's just a simple way to make it clear the post you're reading is official
TPWD-provided news or information.
