I grew up in Brenham and so Washington on the Brazos became a local fav real fast. I remember going there for a field trip in school. They also used to host fireworks on th 4th of July where you could bring a picnic and blanket and enjoy the day and evening. We went back last year for the Texas Independence Day fest and had a blast. Glad you enjoy my local hometown favorite!
