Happybooker, What a bummer. There's just something unfair to the kids when that happens. I'm sure you'll make it up on another trip. We are leaving someone home to do nothing, but that's because my DH does NOT like camping. He not only dislikes it, he makes it miserable for everyone else. We're happy he decided to babysit the cats and make sure no one steals the couch.
