We have installed CFL's in all our bedrooms. So far, no problems of any sort with them. In the living area, we still have incandescents (don't like the look of the curly-cue bulbs). I know...I know...that should not matter if one is really trying to be green...
Also, if you live in the San Antonio area, you can get your electrical power from Windtricity (electricity from wind turbines). We signed up for 10% of our power from Windtricity. Figure every little bit helps...
