March 21, 2009 — Government Canyon SNA — Share the Road & the Trails Cycling Program — Join the Friends of Government Canyon and the San Antonio - Bexar County Metropolitan Planning Organization and become familiar with the commuting concept of Same Road, Same Rules, Same Rights. Also learn about the best practices for mountain biking. We'll go over rules of the road, you'll watch a short video demonstrating various commuting techniques and we'll review proven mountain biking techniques. After the classroom exercise there will be a chance to practice your skills. Open to all ages; group size limited; children must be accompanied by an adult. 9 a.m.-noon; reservations required and will be accepted beginning at noon on February 21, 2009.
