Absolutely no need to apologize. I just didn't want anyone thinking we were having a "Bah Humbug" Christmas because I'm too busy/lazy to decorate the tree.
The problems with the tree are: a) it's getting more and more structurally unsound thanks to cats climbing in it and warping where the "limbs" attach to the "trunk"; b) it's crooked (I have to prop its stand to get it remotely level
c) it's perpetually shedding fake "needles", and d) it isn't nearly as full as I would like it to be. I want an artificial that's more like my parents' Christmas tree ->
