I applaud your 'first shot' in this issue. For several years I have been angered that our elected officials 'redirect or re-appropriate' funds intended for our parks. I look upon it as our legislators thumbing their nose at the will of the people and doing dang well what they want. I have reservations for Cleburne on October 17th so will see first hand the condition you describe. I will also join in the letter writing campaign.
