Re: Copper Breaks Trip Report - August 2008

Welcome to the board! Nice first report. Now then, who's afraid of a little ol' dirt road? That's what the Pathfinder is for.....PATH....FINDER. J/K I always feel a little more confident having the 4x4 option, just in case. We had a similar experience at Big Bend. It's a cool feeling to hit the pavement with mud flying everywhere. "Yes people, I was taking a drive on the wild side!" I never washed off my mud from the trip. When I got back to work, people asked where I got that colored mud. Then it rained I had a puddle of rust colored evidence beneath the Xterra.

Copper Breaks is one of those places we''ve wanted to see but seems so far for us. Thanks for the report. We'll need to get up there some time to see it for ourselves.

The kids should have a blast wherever you take them. Mine prefers camping to being at home. Who wouldn't?
