I'm so excited to be in Texas next week...I can finally visit some friends and family since it's my mom's birthday, but the drive there is pretty long and such a bore but thank goodness I have my umgd roommate with me so it won't be too bad. Whats cool is that this band Delta Spirit I'm into is going to be performing there too at Walter's on Washington (Houston) on 9/11, Lola's Saloon (Ft. Worth) on 9/12, and The Parish (Austin) on 9/13, but I wasn't able to get tickets yet so maybe my roommate can get those tickets I've been asking for. I really hope I can go so I can see them live cuz I'm really diggin their song Trashcan that's on their Ode to Sunshine cd. so yeah, just wanted to share this bit of excitement with yall.
