Got some updated info on this park from some members at another camping message board that I frequent. It seems that the water flow on the Onion and Williamson Creeks can drop during the summer to the point that the water in the swimming areas become stagnant. This will cause an unsafe condition. I understand that the park staff monitor this on a daily basis and close the swimming areas when conditions warrant. Just though this was information that some could use as they plan their trips.
