I went back to the Brazos with a friend on Thursday afternoon, to do the section up-river from Hamm Creek again. We got a late start and were on the water by 330. We got back to the boat ramp about nine. We didn't go as far as I had the time before, but had a great time. We were about 30 min short of the sandbar, so maybe 1-1/2 hours short of Sand Island. I will make it sometime all the way to Sand Island.
