We are planning a trip from Dallas to
Balmorhea State Park. It's going to be quite a haul for a weekend trip but there will be three of us driving so that won't be so bad. We'll probably head down to the
Marfa Lights viewing area but otherwise we're just planning on swimming most of the time. I've been there once on the way to
Davis Mountains State Park but couldn't swim because I didn't bring my suit. Who thought you could go swimming in late November? Ah, those who fail to plan...speaking of which, we haven't made reservations yet, yikes!
