We are a week away from the "Big Road Trip". I'm getting new tires and oil change today. Reservations for "Texas", show @ Kwahadi Kiva, Palo Duro by Jeep, are made. There is just one thing I am not looking forward to, I have inventory the night before we leave. I'll be at the store 6pm until about 3 am. ARGH!

Here is the itinerary
1 night in Abilene
3 nights @ Caprock Canyon
we'll take the rail to trail bike riding, bat tour of Clarity tunnel, and horseback ride.
5 nights @ Palo Duro Canyon
we'll go to Panhandle Plains museum, Don Harrington Discovery Center, AQHA Hall of fame, Kwahadi Kiva, Lake Meredith and Alibates Flint Monument, See the show Texas, Tour the canyon by Jeep, take a trail ride, ride bikes and hike
1 night @ Lake Colorado City
On the way, we'll stop at a pick your own apple orchard in Lubbock
3 nights @ South Llano River
On the way we'll visit San Angelo State Park, and possibly stop in Paint rock for a tour of the petroglyphs, at least a lunch stop in Eden.
One at South Llano, we'll swim so much we'll become turtles and never want to return home.

We have another trip scheduled 2 weeks after returning. YEA, Big Bend!
