Actually, all of the local bike shops in San Antonio that I've spoken to lately are reporting strong sales and overall business. While I am pained at the high gas prices like everyone else (it recently cost $83 to fill-up my truck) - I am also a bit excited about hearing how popular bicycles are becoming. Now we just need our legislators to ensure that all new streets and street upgrades incorporate bicycle lanes.
