I was making some final plans for July trip. Already have South llano/Davis/South Llano booked. I had considered a day trip to BB, but, I'd like to have more time. I've made a request for 2 nights at the lodge. We'll have 2 full days, (the third will be a 5 hour drive to South Llano). I've seen photos of Santa Elena Canyon and heard about the hot springs. What should we see/do? Remember, it's me and my 8YO son, in a 4x4 Xterra, in JULY.
