Arrrggg! I remember using the aluminum kind growing up camping! (My fav was apple butter sandwiches.) I think they were sold in a garage sale many years ago. I may have to invest in a pair of cast iron ones. I had forgotten about the joy of cooking with them. No dishes to mess with!! Just wipe clean! Do make sure you have seasoned them well. Just like you do a cast iron skillet. Once seasoned correctly they should never be left to soak. A quick washing at the most then let dry over heat.
